VIRGINIA AUTO DEALER www.vada.com 16 O n Thursday, January 17th, our dealers traveled across the Commonwealth and gathered together in Richmond for our 2019 Assault the Hill, Dealer Day event. The group of attendees, with dealership networks large and small, met at the Omni Richmond Hotel for a lunch and brief- ing. Legislative Chairman Rick Gallaer enthusiastically spoke about the day’s importance, as did VADA President Don Hall, who also highlighted the legislation we are supporting this year. After lunch, VADA staff members led teams of dealers, orga- nized by region, and walked the halls of the General Assembly to meet with senators and delegates. Dealers were able to chat with legislators from their area to explain the virtues of the franchise system, including the positive impact it has on em- ployees and consumers back home. We know for certain that our elected officials appreciate meet- ing and getting to know their hometown dealers. And having you there lets them know we are serious about leveling the playing field with manufacturers. Thank you again to those who participated in Dealer Day. We encourage all of you to join us in the years to come. Check out some pictures below! Assault the Hill :
