10 VIRGINIA AUTO DEALER www.virginiadealers.com I n our busy social media crazy world, we often forget the importance of being in a live face-to-face setting with others from our business community. Being active in VADA can bring with it many benefits. There is power in being connected to other people who are active in our local car industry, but it can also be easy to talk yourself out of committing to our annual convention, educational offerings and other events. Many people think that joining our association is enough, but to capitalize on the return on your investment you need to be engaged and participate in our meetings. For those of you that took the time and attended, we’re pos- itive that you came away with good ideas, more knowledge and some new professional relationships. There are many really good reasons to take some time away from your dealerships, spend time with family and col- leagues and recharge. T he opening party “A Night Under the Moroccan Stars” was a huge success as we renewed friend- ships, met new people and got into the Moroccan vibe of the event. Towards the end of the evening we celebrated VADA’s 75th anniversary with cake and appreciation for the continued dedication for excellence from our President, Don Hall and VADA staff.
